Calisthenics is often associated with impressive skills — handstands, presses, levers and other advanced movements. However, behind these skills is a training process built on strength development, structured with intention. Many people are curious about calisthenics but are unsure how to begin or what bodyweight training involves. This session introduces the principles behind how we approach calisthenics training. Experience Selected Training Drills Participants will try a few selected drills used in calisthenics training to better understand how these concepts translate into practice. This session is not intended to be a full training class, but rather an introduction to calisthenics training. |
