Mushin Movement was born to help people move and feel better.
Having spent time in the fitness industry dabbling in different disciplines and training methods, we've experienced many myths disguised as hard facts about what the human body cannot or should not do.
Mushin Movement is a space free of existing dogma, for anyone and everyone to safely explore their movement and figure out the limits of what our bodies are capable of.
Now we want to pass on this knowledge and share our experience with you - to help you develop the strength and flexibility needed for your movement and fitness goals.
What is Mushin?
“the mind without mind” – a mental state when your mind not fixed or occupied by thought or emotion, and thus open to everything.
Shortened from a Zen expression mushin no shin (無心の心), this state refers to when a person's mind is free from thoughts and attachment, relying not on what they think should be the next move, but their trained natural reaction or what is felt intuitively - unconscious competence.
